Born on the Lake Erie Shore

Toothy Critter Hard Baits started with a simple frustration: every lure on the shelf looked the same and acted the same. As anglers who spend more time on the water than in a store, we knew there had to be a better way to design hard baits that actually work when the fish are keyed in.

So we built them ourselves. Every popper, stick bait, and crankbait that leaves our Fairview workshop goes through real field testing on Lake Erie — not just a casting pool. We tune the action, refine the weight distribution, and hand-paint each finish because your catch deserves gear that performs on the first cast.
